Dancing with the QueersSundays at Lake Merritt Dance CenterSame-sex International Ballroom & Latin******************************************** December 2008 - Sundays
No partner necessary. Lake Merritt Dance Center (Veterans Memorial Building) Cost: Advanced class: $20 per class or $72 with 8 student minimum. Intermediate classes: $15 per class or $52 for four weeks when paid on the first day of class. Please note: The classes are designed to build on the previous week's material. While we generally review what we did in the last class, should you have to miss a class, please make an effort to catch up either by asking a fellow classmate to go over it with you or by taking a private lesson. Unless you are familiar with the material, please no drop-ins except on the first day of class. Also, you are welcome, in fact encouraged, to learn both the leader’s and follower’s roles as that makes you a better dancer and you have to sit out fewer dances. During a month of class however, it is requested that you work on one role or the other. |
